I am a visual artist, speaker, and blogger. I received my Masters of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University. Currently, I am the coordinator of Allied Arts and Special Events at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
There is a line from a song by Uncle Tupelo that says, "What a life a mess can be." That was the title of my thesis exhibition at ASU, and it is also my worldview.
Like most people, my life has been affected by things that produce brokenness; such as anxiety, depression, addiction, loss, disease and doubt.
Yet, despite the mess...I am still in awe of life, and I am thankful for the journey.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging with my wife and kids, creating stuff, reading stacks of books and encouraging others to enjoy life.
